After a record breaking high school career, senior Rachael Lau finished her high school cross country career with a 12 place finish earning All-State honors for the second time in her career. Lau finished with a 16:53 for three miles, running this time at the State meet on November 7. She also placed all-state her sophomore year and qualified for State last year.

Lau also finished third in the state at the IHSA State track meet in the spring in the 3200 meter race. Along with these honors, she holds multiple records at North, including the 3200 meter run for both indoor and outdoor track.

She will run for North this spring during track season and will continue her racing career in college at Duke University where she has committed to run Cross Country and Track and Field.
