Yesterday the varsity Tigers took on the Minooka Indians at home. The Tigers took the early lead when Senior Josh Heckman hit a solo home run.

Starting pitcher Josh Garner struggled towards the end of the game, causing Junior Brady Corrigan to relieve him in the middle of the fifth inning. Coming Back off of injury Corrigan was very rustic in his release. He fought to throw strikes to senior catcher Jake Dunham. However Corrigan came in the top of the sixth, with bases loaded and two outs, he was able to strike out the batter to end the inning.

After that the game was pretty stagnant until in the bottom of the 6th inning when the tigers, who were leading 3-2, surged ahead to 7-2, with a hitting spree against the Indians pitcher, lefty Tyler Talbot.

Senior Jacob Miller closed out the game throwing strikes and working in and outside of the plate to end the game in a Tiger victory with north winning 7 to 2.
